Always fair, and they go above and beyond! I brought a new (to us) used car in for a once over and some work: a pre inspection when I bought the car out of state had called out a tie rod to be replaced, and I wanted the tires rotated. Mike called back and advised the tie rod looked OK, not to rotate the tires because they were close to end of life, and even picked up and installed a cabin air filter I had on hand. Can't say enough good things about this shop. Thank you!

Always Get Great service! Once again, I always get great service from J&C. My starter failed again-2nd time in 18 mos. They quickly diagnosed it and worked hard to obtain the part I needed. Because the previous starter had failed so soon, they didn’t charge me as they pursued the warranty coverage. They always do a great job with this car-22 years old and a limited 3 year run-and have been able to find the parts I needed!

Been going to J&C since we moved to Downers Grove in 1988, service then was great, still great now. They got every job we needed done in a day, we've never had a car there overnight. We've had 4 or 5 different cars over the years and each was well taken care of. No upsell, no extra costs, just the straight answers to what the car needs and fair prices. Good deal all around.

J & C Auto in Downers Grove is a gem. I had my Sonata and Lexus in today (6-30-26) for an oil change and multi point inspection, and these folks nailed it--fast, precise, and absolutely professional. Mike, Jeff, Janine, and Sebastian make the place feel like you're in the hands of people who actually care. Friendly, helpful, and sharp at what they do. If you want a shop that treats your car right and treats you right, J & C Auto is the place to go.

Always great service! Mike did a great job by locating an after market part needed for my repair vs purchasing the part from a dealership.
